The Rolling Stones halen veel plezier aan het onverwacht spelen in kleine zalen als ze op tournee zijn. Zo ook in 1999, toen de No Security Tour de band naar Londen bracht. De band zou daar tweemaal in een uitverkocht Wembley Stadion spelen, en tot ieders verrassing kondigden ze dag ervoor een 'suprise show' aan in Shepherd's Bush. 

De zaal, waar slechts 1800 bezoekers in kunnen puilde uit die avond, en zag de band een setlist afwerken die zowel klassiekers bevatte als een aantal zelden gespeelde nummers 
zoals 'Melody', 'Moon Is Up', 'I Got The Blues' en 'Brand New Car'. Sheryl Crow, die het voorprogramma verzorgde die avond, vergezelde de band later die avond tijdens 
'Honky Tonk Women'.
