One Man Band is het vijfde studio-album van Miles Kane. Op One Man Band keert Kane, met grote hooks en grote anthems, terug naar zijn gitaar-roots. Het album is scherp, aanstekelijk, urgent en bevat veel meezingmomenten. One Man Band is een persoonlijke plaat geworden, Kane keerde terug naar Liverpool om aan het album te werken en dacht erbij terug aan de reis die hij tot op heden heeft gemaakt. “Making the album back in Liverpool with my family really helped to bring this out of me,” zegt Kane over het schrijfproces. “We left no stone unturned. Sometimes you have to go backwards to go forwards, and this album helped me rediscover why I picked up a guitar in the first place. This album is like a brand new, yet somehow familiar leather jacket. A comforting melting pot of all the music that has inspired and continues to inspire me every day.”
