"Everyones stares" is een documentaire gefilmd en geregisseerd door Stewart Copeland zelf. Het is een verslag vanuit de band over de weg, die The Police heeft afgelegd, van obscuur bandje in de marge tot een van de beroemdste bands ter wereld. Of zoals Copeland het zelf formuleert: 'In 1978 was ik lid van een beginnend bandje genaamd The Police. Ik kocht van mijn laatste geld een super 8-filmcamera. Zodra ik deze naar mijn oog bracht en begon te filmen, gebeurden er verbazingwekkende dingen. Everyone Stares is het resultaat van dit jarenlang filmen'.
