Tijdens de tour langs tien steden in Latijns Amerika werd het inmiddels legendarische concert van de Rolling Stones in Havana op poten gezet. De film biedt de kijker dan ook een unieke kijkje achter de schermen bij de totstandkoming van dit optreden dat maar liefst een miljoen Cubanen op de been bracht.
De dvd en blu-ray zullen bevatten naast naast de documentaire ook enkele bonustracks die niet te zien waren in de bioscoopversie van Olé Olé Olé! die afgelopen najaar in een beperkt aantal filmzalen te zien was.
