De uit Liverpool afkomstige Dan Wilson geniet enige bekendheid als zanger en tekstdichter van de Britse garagebluesband The Cubical, waarmee hij al een reeks albums uitbracht en tourde in Europa, Australië en Amerika. In Nederland stond Wilson al op tientallen podia en overtuigde hij met zijn band het publiek door zijn rauwe stem, charismatische uitstraling en innemende humor.


Voor zijn solowerk tapt Wilson uit een ander vaatje dan we van Cubical gewend zijn. In 2015 bracht Wilson zijn eerste soloalbum getiteld “All Love Is Blind” uit en op dit album laat hij donkere folk, oude blues en intense roots horen. Voor iedereen met een voorliefde voor Cohen, Cash, Cave, Howling Wolf en vooroorlogse folk/blues is Dan Wilson een naam om zeker een keer te checken.
