Eric Clapton & Friends brengen met The Breeze een muzikaal eerbetoon aan de vorig jaar op 26 juli overleden J.J. Cale. De singer songwriter met de laidback zangstijl was decennia lang een vriend van Clapton, die zijn bekendste nummers Cocaine en After Midnight tot wereldhits maakte. The Breeze staat vol met heerlijke laidback tracks opgenomen door Clapton met onder meer Mark Knopfler, Tom Petty en John Mayer. 

The Breeze, an appreciation of J.J. Cale is ook verkrijgbaar als dubbel lp.
